Ethiopia TREE - Agroforestry Training Senior Officer (Fixed-Term)

One Acre Fund seeks an experienced agroforestry training specialist to lead technical content development and delivery for the new South Region tree program in Ethiopia.

Who can apply

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Fluency in Wolayta, Amharic, and English

What you'll do

• Revise and create training manuals on seedling production, marketing, distribution, and tree planting
• Lead technical training-of-trainers sessions for field teams
• Conduct data quality checks on printed training materials
• Support annual professional development training planning
• Execute small-to-medium training and agroforestry projects (e.g., seed quality checks, marketing assessments, species adoption tracking)
• Follow up on training cascaded to Tree Nursery Operators to ensure production goals are met
