Who can apply

• Medical Doctor (MBChB or equivalent), registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC), with a valid practicing license.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role (e.g., Medical Director, Head of Department, Clinic Lead, or similar).
• Strong general practice/primary care clinical skills.
• Proven leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in clinic setup, service development, or operational leadership is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

What you'll do

• Serve as the Principal General Practitioner, providing high-quality outpatient primary care.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all medical staff and services within the clinic.
• Lead and support the establishment of a new clinic, including setup of clinical protocols, standards, and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, ethical, and clinical governance standards.
• Mentor and support clinical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to clinical framework, services offered and colleague appraisals.
• Monitor and maintain quality assurance and clinical audit processes.
