What it offers

• Two roles: IB Year 2 Homeroom Teacher and IB PYP PHE Teacher.
• Employment type: Full-time.

Who can apply

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree.
• Required certification: TSC Certificate or an internationally recognized teaching qualification or a BEd/MEd.
• Experience: At least 3 years teaching as a PYP teacher.
• Additional requirement for PHE Teacher: Ability to teach Kiswahili as a subject.
• Skills: Highly collaborative, creative, adaptable, empathetic, reflective, and strong communication skills.

What you'll do

• Plan curriculum documents collaboratively to reflect Academy and PYP standards.
• Teach using inquiry-based methods and differentiate activities for all students.
• Authentically assess, record, and track student progress; communicate progress to parents and guardians.
• Communicate programme information to stakeholders.
• Resource programme needs and maintain existing inventory.
• Participate in school life, including out-of-hours activities.
• Monitor student behavior to ensure adherence to core values and discipline policy.
• Actively participate in the Appraisal for Growth process as part of the professional learning community.
