Treasury and Trade Solutions: Business Development Sales- Middle East and Africa at Citi

Citi is seeking a Business Development Sales professional for its Treasury and Trade Solutions team to drive client acquisition and revenue growth across the Middle East & Africa region from its Nairobi hub.

Who can apply

• 10+ years of experience in transaction banking, treasury services, cash management, payments, trade finance, corporate banking, or related financial services.
• Proven track record of originating and closing large, complex, multi-country transaction banking and treasury mandates.
• Education: Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to acquire new TTS clients and expand wallet share.
• Originate, lead, and close complex TTS opportunities involving cash management, payments, liquidity management, trade, and digital treasury solutions.
• Engage senior decision-makers including CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors, and senior government officials.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution, including RFP management, client presentations, negotiations, and implementation governance.
• Coordinate cross-functional deal teams across Product, Banking, Implementation, Risk, Legal, and Operations.
