• Encourage high standards in all aspects of school life, particularly student progress

• Promote a positive, purposeful, and professional school culture
• Support and motivate students, teachers, and other school employees
• Plan and prepare well-structured, clearly presented lessons appropriate to students’ abilities and the syllabus
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that facilitates learning
• Generate enthusiasm for the subject and inspire students to work to their potential
• Liaise with Heads of Department and Head of Inclusion regarding students with special educational needs
• Liaise with form tutors if students are experiencing pastoral difficulties
• Promote high standards of behavior through a positive, proactive approach to study
