Who can apply

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Master’s is an added advantage)
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years’ teaching experience
• Mandatory: Previous teaching experience in an international school
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge Checkpoint, Cambridge IGCSE, WAEC, and NERDC/BECE curricula
• Demonstrated success in preparing students for external examinations
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Strong classroom management, organisational, and interpersonal skills

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge Checkpoint, Cambridge IGCSE, WAEC, and NERDC/BECE curricula
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, WAEC, and BECE
• Deliver holiday lessons, weekend tutorials, revision classes, and academic intervention programmes
• Prepare, administer, mark, and evaluate assessments, assignments, coursework, and examinations
• Monitor student performance and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, communication skills, and subject mastery
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, moderation exercises, and school-wide academic initiatives
• Support co-curricular activities such as subject clubs, competitions, debates, STEM programmes, literary activities, creative arts, or faith-based programmes
• Supervise practical or studio sessions where applicable
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to students’ pastoral care
• Uphold the school’s values, safeguarding policies, and high academic standards
