Senior Driver/Fleet Supervisor

ManPower Services Group is recruiting a Senior Driver/Fleet Supervisor to oversee transport operations in Nyeri, Kenya.

What it offers

• Full-time position managing and coordinating transport operations for an institution.

Who can apply

• Candidates with a minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in driving all vehicle classes, including buses, and fleet management.
• Experience operating a 50-seater bus in an educational institution, corporate organisation, or similar environment.
• Valid Class ABCE Driving License and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) License.
• Motor Vehicle Mechanics Certificate from NYS or a recognised equivalent.
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) as minimum education.
• Certificate of Good Conduct.

What you'll do

• Supervise, schedule, and monitor drivers and transport support staff.
• Drive school vehicles and ensure safe transportation of students, staff, visitors, and school property.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, inspection, licensing, insurance, and roadworthiness.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, fuel consumption, mileage, and operational costs.
• Ensure vehicles comply with safety requirements and statutory regulations.
• Conduct fleet inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective measures.
• Support marketing and public relations initiatives as required.
• Provide monthly reports on fleet performance and operational improvements.
