Fleet Manager – School Transport

Fleet Manager – School Transport at Delight Adventures Limited oversees the school transport fleet in Kenya.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day operations of the school transport fleet.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle availability and minimize downtime.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and maintenance costs, and implement efficiency measures.
• Supervise drivers and bus assistants, ensuring adherence to company policies, road safety regulations, and customer service standards.
• Ensure all vehicles have valid insurance, inspection certificates, licenses, and other statutory documentation.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and vehicle breakdowns, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, including servicing, repairs, fuel usage, mileage, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections and ensure defects are addressed promptly.
• Monitor GPS tracking systems and driver performance to promote safe and efficient operations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational and performance reports.
• Work closely with management to optimize fleet utilization and support business growth.
