Senior Sales Manager at PrideInn

PrideInn is recruiting a Senior Sales Manager to lead international MICE sales from its Nairobi hub.

What it offers

• Full-time position in Nairobi, Kenya
• Reports to PrideInn Hotels, Resorts & Camp, a 12-year-old Kenyan brand operating 8 hotels and a camp across 5 counties.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ hotel sales experience, including at least 3 years focused on international MICE.
• Proven track record in securing large-scale conferences and events.
• Strong network within international associations, PCOs, DMCs, corporate organizations, and government institutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of global MICE trends and willingness to travel internationally.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting international MICE business.
• Secure international conferences, exhibitions, conventions, corporate events, and incentive travel groups.
• Build and maintain relationships with PCOs, DMCs, associations, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate clients.
• Represent the company at international trade shows, roadshows, and industry events.
• Prepare proposals, bids, presentations, and negotiate contracts.
• Achieve revenue targets while maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
• Identify emerging MICE opportunities through market research.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Develop partnerships with tourism boards, convention bureaus, airlines, and other key industry stakeholders.
