Silver Cross Healthcare & Diagnostics is recruiting a Medical Officer to deliver patient-centred care in Abuja.

Who can apply

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
• Current practicing licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
• Completion of the mandatory NYSC programme (where applicable)
• 1–3 years of post-qualification clinical experience is an added advantage

What you'll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
• Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations
• Provide emergency and urgent medical care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health promotion, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with nurses, laboratory scientists, pharmacists, and other professionals
• Participate in clinical audits, continuous medical education, and quality improvement activities
• Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and infection prevention and control guidelines
