What you'll do

• Plan, organise, lead and control all hatchery duties to meet production standards
• Stand in for the Assistant Hatchery Manager when required
• Manage labour issues and ensure staff meet company objectives
• Maintain product quality, hygiene and biosecurity with the Quality controller
• Manage resources to maximise company benefit
• Handle weekend standby duties and report incubator faults to Maintenance
• Ensure incubation practices are followed for optimal hatchability
• Assist with chick processing during rotational shifts
• Implement and manage continuous improvement using the 20 Keys principles
• Manage health, safety and risk at the hatchery
• Complete and submit daily production reports
