What it offers

Who can apply

• High School Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in welding or a related technical field.
• Vocational or technical training in welding.
• Professional welding certification is desirable.
• Hands-on experience in welding.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal components using hand tools, plasma cutters, or metal cutting machines.
• Apply welding techniques to join metal parts.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment safely, including welding cells and flame-cutting tools.
• Inspect and test welds for structural integrity, compliance, and safety standards.
• Smooth and finish welded surfaces to remove imperfections and ensure proper alignment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following OSHA and other safety protocols.
• Perform any other work-related duties as assigned.
