One Young World Leading Scholarship 2026

One Young World’s flagship Leading Scholarship 2026 funds young leaders to attend the annual One Young World Summit in Cape Town, South Africa.

What it offers

• Full delegate access to the One Young World Summit in Cape Town.
• Hotel accommodation between 2 and 6 November 2026.
• Catering including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• The cost of travel to and from Cape Town, with the requirement that your flight must leave from and return to the same airport.

Who can apply

• You must be between the ages of 18 - 35.
• You must have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change.
• You must be addressing key local and/or global issues in your work.
• You must have a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas.
• You cannot apply if you will be under 18 at the time of the Summit.

How to apply

• Applications open on 11 June 2026.
• The application deadline is 31 October 2026.
• Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
• Selected candidates will be notified via email between June and October 2026.

Good to know

• Priority will be given to applicants from countries that have been less represented at previous One Young World Summits.
• Priority will be given to first-time Summit attendees.
• If selected, you must pay the visa fee yourself for entry into South Africa.
