SAIPA Scholarship 2026 in South Africa

The Project Achiever Programme helps accounting professionals prepare for the SAIPA Professional Evaluation (PE) Exam to earn the Professional Accountant (SA) designation.

What it offers

• Online interactive virtual classes every Saturday from 08h30 – 16h00 via Zoom, starting 31 January 2026 to 30 May 2026.
• Preparation for the SAIPA competency-based Professional Evaluation Examination on 6 June 2026.
• Integration of knowledge and practical skills across financial accounting, taxation, auditing, corporate law, management accounting, and more.
• Personalised feedback and guidance from facilitators after each module.

Who can apply

• Candidates with a BCom degree or equivalent tertiary qualification including specific core subjects.
• Candidates with a completed three-year SAIPA learnership (logbook at least 80%, completed by 30 September 2026).
• Candidates who have previously written the SAIPA PE Assessment and were not successful.
• Candidates with six years’ relevant working experience in a financial environment, verified by employers.
• Candidates with a completed training programme from other recognised professional accountancy bodies.

What you'll do

• Attend online classes and prepare for the PE Examination.
• Integrate knowledge and skills to analyse business scenarios and develop solutions.

How to apply

1. Applications open 1 July 2026.
2. Complete the application form and select Project Achiever.
3. Upload certified documents:
   • Copy of ID/Passport
   • Matric Certificate
   • Tertiary Certificate/Qualifications
   • Academic Record
   • Detailed CV
   • Employer reference letters (on company letterhead, signed by HR or senior official, including name, ID number, employment period, and duties)
   • SAQA letter (if foreign qualification)
4. Payment of fees in full by 31 July 2026 (Project Achiever Fee – R 4 915.20, Administration Fee – R 1 417.88, PE Exam Fee – R 1 460.33 for Project Achiever candidates).

• Fees are not transferrable or refundable in case of cancellations.
