Group Head, Human Resources

Bridgemead Consulting is seeking a Group Head, Human Resources to lead the Group’s human capital function in Lagos, Nigeria.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related discipline
• Master’s Degree is preferred
• Relevant professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD is required
• 10–20 years of progressive HR experience, including significant leadership responsibility within manufacturing, steel, mining, energy, logistics, heavy industry, or conglomerate environments

What you'll do

• Develop and implement the Group’s HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives and business growth plans
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, learning and development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
• Drive talent management, leadership development, retention strategies, and succession planning
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, corporate governance requirements, HR policies, and regulatory standards
• Oversee HR planning, budgeting, reporting, operational excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
