Vacancies at Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA)

The Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA) is recruiting to support its mandate of safeguarding and reuniting unclaimed financial assets with their rightful owners.

What you'll do

• Receive, safeguard, invest and disburse unclaimed financial assets
• Receive all payments required by the Act to be made to the Fund
• Ensure holders either reunite assets or surrender them to the Authority
• Carry out inspections to ensure accurate reporting
• Submit and maintain all relevant information on unclaimed financial assets in the database
• Assume custody of the rights of unclaimed financial assets holders
• Locate and notify owners of unclaimed financial assets
• Make payments out of the Fund to rightful owners in accordance with the Act
• Manage and invest the Authority’s funds
• Implement unclaimed financial assets policies and procedures
• Act as Trustee to the Fund in accordance with Part V of the Act
• Enforce and administer the provisions of the Unclaimed Financial Assets Act
• Advise the Cabinet Secretary on national policy regarding unclaimed assets
• Implement all government policies related to the Authority
• Perform other functions conferred by the Unclaimed Financial Assets Act
