Moniepoint is seeking a Head of Product Control & Accounting to lead global accounting operations and financial reporting for Africa’s largest merchant acquirer.

What you'll do

• Ensure financial statements accurately reflect the financial health of the business across multiple entities and regions
• Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting at the holding company level
• Coordinate the accounting and month-end closing process for the holding entity and its subsidiaries
• Oversee global accounting operations, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations
• Ensure IFRS compliance and adherence to local statutory regulations
• Develop and manage global cost allocation methodologies
• Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risk
• Collaborate with finance leadership on process improvement initiatives
• Manage relationships with auditors and oversee external audits
