Technical Worker

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is seeking a qualified Technical Worker for a four-month contract in Maroua, Cameroon.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair ICRC facilities (residences, offices, warehouses).
• Supervise maintenance requests and third-party works (masonry, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, refrigeration).
• Conduct regular checks of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Identify repair needs and install/ maintain standard equipment.
• Verify sanitary and security systems in residences.
• Manage and track utility bills (water, electricity, phone, Canal+), rental payments, and inventory updates.
• Prepare quotes and assist with procurement under supervision.
• Perform small approved purchases for maintenance.
