TY Danjuma MBA Scholarships for Africans

The TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship offers financial support to African students accepted onto MBA programmes at the top 10 business schools worldwide, as ranked by the Financial Times.

What it offers

• Financial support grants to help bridge part of the funding gap for MBA programmes.
• The scholarship is not intended to be the primary source of funding.

Who can apply

• African students who have been accepted onto an MBA programme at one of the top 10 leading business schools, as ranked by the Financial Times MBA Global Ranking 2026.
• Eligibility is not restricted by domicile.

How to apply

• Send the following information to mba@tyd-fo.co.uk between 1 June and 30 June 2026:
  • Full Name
  • Nationality
  • Full contact details
  • Name of Business School where you have been accepted onto their MBA Programme
  • Year of enrolment at the Business School
  • Copy of offer letter from the Business School
  • Copy of your CV
  • Copy of your own budget and funding shortfall (including confirmation letters for all scholarships and loans)
• Applications received prior to 1 June 2026 or after 30 June 2026 will not be processed.

Good to know

• The scholarship aims to help up to eight students a year.
• Since its launch in 2011, scholarships have been awarded to 68 students from countries including Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Morocco, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire.
• The Family Office managing the assets of Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma is responsible for the scholarship.
