Young African Landscape Leadership Program

The Young African Landscape Leadership Program is an eight-month annual initiative designed to connect and develop young leaders across Africa through networking, workshops, and dialogues.

What it offers

• An eight-month program including networking meetings, regional dialogues, and workshops.
• Participation in the GLF Africa 2022 digital conference.
• A 4-week Landscape Leadership Digital Workshop.
• A two-hour regional dialogue on human-rights approaches in conservation and restoration.
• Regular emails with regional job vacancies and updates on Africa-based GLF activities.
• A free voucher to the Landscape Leadership massive open online course upon completing the workshop.

• Promising young innovators, practitioners, scientists, and activists from across Africa.

What you'll do

• Attend monthly meetings, dialogues, and workshops.
• Present your work during scheduled sessions.
• Participate in a regional dialogue on human-rights approaches in conservation.
• Engage in a Landscape Leadership Workshop to build project tools for transformative change.
• Receive updates and reminders about Africa-based GLF activities.
