Information Management (IM) Specialist

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) Nigeria seeks an Information Management Specialist to design, maintain, and secure data systems that inform program decisions across its operations in Abuja and field offices.

What it offers

• National staff position based in Abuja, Nigeria with a 1-year renewable contract
• Salary grade NM – G2

Who can apply

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in information management, database design/administration, or development projects with NGOs/UN
• Strong skills in Excel, SQL, R, Access, PowerBI (or similar)
• Experience with GIS mapping and spatial analysis is an advantage

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of information systems and dashboards
• Standardize data processes across projects and sectors
• Train staff and partners on information management tools and reporting
• Ensure data protection and quality assurance per DRC and GDPR policies
• Support MEAL activities, data analysis, and visualization for decision-making
• Coordinate with UN agencies, NGOs, and government partners on data standards
