This is a full-time job for a Technical Supervisor in Uganda, focusing on overseeing local fabrication and outsourced production of custom furniture. The role involves translating designs into technical production packages, selecting suppliers, and ensuring quality control to meet deadlines, budgets, and specifications. No direct workshop management is required due to a 100% contract manufacturing model.
Key responsibilities include managing third-party vendors, quality assurance, and ensuring technical accuracy. The position requires a Higher Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4–6 years of experience in technical quality control, contract manufacturing, or senior workshop supervision within the furniture industry.
Technical proficiency with Pin/Pi equipment is mandatory.
