The UNDP Djibouti is seeking a national Expert Principal in Sustainable Finance to lead technical implementation of the BIOFIN initiative and draft Djibouti’s first National Biodiversity Finance Plan. The role involves coordinating analyses on policy and institutional frameworks, biodiversity spending, financial needs, and financing solutions, while ensuring alignment with national and international biodiversity goals. The consultant will work with public institutions, private sector, civil society, and partners to ensure participatory and national ownership of findings. The position is based in Djibouti with occasional on-site work at UNDP offices, spanning August 2026 to June 2028 (180 days).
