Who can apply
This role is open to individuals with a bachelor’s degree or higher, at least two years of field experience with communities, and a strong commitment to empathy, integrity, and safeguarding. Fluency in Macua (local language) and Portuguese is mandatory. Intermediate English is required, along with experience in risk management, beneficiary follow-up, and operational oversight. Prior experience in internal auditing or field operations is preferred.
What you'll do
- Conduct daily quality assessments of cash transfer operations, including interviews with beneficiaries and community leaders.
- Monitor risks in the field and communicate concerns promptly to the Field Manager.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, risk evaluation, and community engagement activities.
- Ensure beneficiary safeguarding by protecting rights, respecting choices, and providing necessary support.
- Collaborate with safeguarding, technical, and staff teams to uphold operational integrity.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including resource accountability and new team member integration.
- Report and address implementation gaps to improve program quality.
