Advancing Disability Inclusion in Humanitarian Food Security: A Regional Workshop by Humanity & Inclusion is a 3.5-day training (October 13–16, 2026) focused on disability-inclusive approaches in food security responses across Somalia, Somaliland, South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. The event targets regional humanitarian staff (technical/programming roles) from international organizations, NGOs, disability groups, and sector coordination teams, with an emphasis on practical tools, policy adaptation, and inter-agency collaboration. English is the primary language, with sign language available upon request. Participants are encouraged to submit two representatives per organization and register via a provided form to tailor content to their needs. The workshop aims to align practices with IASC Guidelines on Disability Inclusion in Humanitarian Action and foster shared learning on inclusive programming.
