The AWARD Women in Agriculture Leadership Program Fellowship 2026 [Cohort 2] is a two-year non-residential fellowship designed to empower African women scientists in climate-responsive agricultural research and agrifood systems. Targeting mid-career professionals from Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Senegal, the program focuses on enhancing leadership, mentorship, and technical skills through training in leadership, negotiation, gender integration, science communication, and research proposal writing. Applicants must work in agricultural research, policy, or practice and hold at least a master’s degree in a relevant field with seven years of experience in agriculture, agrifood systems, gender, and climate-related work.
