Multimedia Designer

VVOB – Education for Development is an international non-profit organisation seeking a Multimedia/Graphic Designer to work from its Global Office in Nairobi, Kenya. This role focuses on creating high-quality visual and multimedia content to support quality education initiatives globally, aligning with VVOB’s mission to improve education systems in Africa, Asia, and South America. The designer will collaborate with communication, programme, and operations teams to develop publications, infographics, social media assets, videos, and brand assets, ensuring consistency and impact across internal and external communications.

Who can apply

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in Kenya, have a University degree in graphic design, animation, multimedia production, or a related field, and possess at least three years of professional experience in print and digital design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Indesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva is required. Fluency in English is mandatory.

What you'll do

• Design print and digital communication materials, including reports, presentations, event materials, infographics, and social media assets.
• Create multimedia products such as video edits, animations, and audiovisual content.
• Maintain visual assets, including brand templates, databases, and design resources, ensuring they are organised and accessible.
• Support VVOB’s website by uploading and formatting visual content.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication products and manage design workflows efficiently.
• Stay updated on design trends and technologies to deliver high-quality work.
• Collaborate with teams in Brussels and Nairobi, as well as global programme and operations departments.
