Monitoring & Evaluation Officer 2026

The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer position at Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Rwanda supports the RISE Program, a national initiative providing technology-enabled secondary education to 1.1 million out-of-school youth. This full-time, term contract role, based in Kigali, involves field validation visits, ensuring data integrity for gender, disability, and refugee status tracking. The role emphasizes data management, reporting, and adaptive program management for stakeholders including UNICEF and the Mastercard Foundation. Salary is up to 700,000 RWF take-home, with allowances for travel and a dynamic, mission-driven team environment.

Key responsibilities include overseeing data collection, auditing field reports, managing analytics dashboards, and preparing reports for program adaptation. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring/Evaluation, Statistics, Data Management, or related field, plus 3+ years of M&E experience in large-scale projects and proficiency with digital data tools (e.g., ODK, KoboToolbox). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
