Senior Manager, Communication

Food For Education, a non-profit improving the lives and school performance of vulnerable children in Kenya through subsidized school meals, is hiring a Senior Manager, Communication to lead strategic messaging and outreach efforts.

What you'll do

• Lead the development and execution of communication strategies to raise awareness and support for the organization’s mission.
• Manage brand reputation, media relations, and public engagement across digital and traditional platforms.
• Oversee the creation of content (reports, social media, press releases) to highlight program impact and fundraising needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to align communication goals with organizational objectives.
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

Who can apply

• Candidates with 5+ years of experience in strategic communication, public relations, or related fields.
• Proven track record in non-profit or social impact communication is highly desirable.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in media relations, digital marketing, or campaign management is a plus.
