Energy Shield Petrochemical Limited (ESPL), a Nigerian oil and gas company operating across Calabar, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Oghara/Warri, is seeking an Accountant to join its team. The role supports the company’s operations in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, contributing to financial management and reporting.

What you'll do

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits, including liaising with auditors.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.

Who can apply

• Qualified candidates with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, or ACA) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
