Business Development Consultant

Triton Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Business Development Consultant to grow its integrated logistics and warehousing business across Southern Africa.

Who can apply

• Matric / Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ external sales, business development or solution-selling experience.
• Practical understanding of warehouse operations and WMS/WCS-linked environments.
• Experience with proposals, quotations, presentations, negotiations and customer engagement.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain a structured, measurable pipeline of new opportunities in warehousing, 3PL, distribution and broader supply chain.
• Prospect via cold calling, networking, referrals, digital outreach, tender identification, industry connections and site visits.
• Conduct customer needs analysis, discovery discussions and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Differentiate Triton’s service offering through value-added, improvement-led solution selling.
• Support proposal development, pricing schedules, negotiations and margin protection.
• Manage post-sale engagement and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
