ICT Officer

Action Against Hunger Nigeria seeks an ICT Officer to manage network, systems, and user support for its Damaturu office and sub-bases in Yobe State.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• Professional certificate(s) and/or training in ICT-related fields
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in similar responsibilities
• Previous NGO experience, especially international NGOs, is an asset
• Fluency in English

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and manage network resources, user backups, and Local Area Network
• Maintain ICT equipment registers, loans, and allocations; track usage and returns
• Perform data backups on servers (OneDrive, NAS) and external drives; install and update antivirus
• Manage user accounts, GLPI ticketing, and ICT induction/training for staff
• Procure, label, configure, and maintain ICT equipment; conduct asset inventories
• Allocate and monitor GSM lines, satellite, radio, and internet services; report abuse
• Support energy-related projects and CCTV system functionality
