Field Credit Officer (North West)

Field Credit Officers are hired by Moniepoint to source and manage small-business borrowers across seven north-western Nigerian states.

What you'll do

• Identify and onboard viable businesses to open Moniepoint business accounts
• Engage customers to drive optimal account usage so they qualify for credit
• Review and approve or decline loan requests by analyzing available data
• Conduct physical visits to borrowers’ business premises to evaluate books, inventory, and turnover
• Make deductions from multiple information sources about the 5Cs of credit, prioritizing capacity, character, and capital
• Recommend actions to management before, during, and after loan disbursement, factoring in economic conditions
• Grow and manage a profitable loan portfolio while ensuring timely repayments
