Responsable Plaidoyer

Action contre la Faim France is recruiting a Responsable Plaidoyer in Goma, DRC, to split time between ACF and the Forum des ONG internationales (FONGI), strengthening humanitarian advocacy in a complex crisis context.

What it offers

• Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months
• Monthly gross salary: €2 597 – €2 968 (13th month included)
• Retirement top-up for non-French citizens: 16 % of gross monthly salary
• Annual base-salary increase: 6 % after every 12 continuous months
• Per diem & living allowance: $1 105 net paid in-country
• Context allowance: €450 per month
• Child allowance: €1 500 per child per year (capped at €6 000/year)

• Health coverage: 100 % of health-insurance premiums, medical fees and repatriation up to 1 month after contract end
• Leave: 25 days paid leave + 20 Rest & Recovery (RnR) days per year; RnR travel capped, plus €215 flat allowance per RnR

Who can apply

• Higher-education degree in social sciences, international relations, international humanitarian law, political science, development studies or a related field
• Relevant experience in political analysis, advocacy strategy and lobbying
• Ideally prior experience in coordinating advocacy in complex, protracted humanitarian crises
• Strong skills in designing high-quality advocacy and communication materials
• Knowledge of DRC is an asset
• French and English (written and oral) fluency required
• Demonstrated listening, collaboration, multi-stakeholder relationship-building and deadline-driven decision-making
• Management and leadership skills and strong analytical capacity

What you'll do

• 50 % of time: contribute to ACF’s advocacy actions in DRC
• 50 % of time: coordinate and implement advocacy actions for the Forum des ONG internationales (FONGI)
• Work under the supervision of ACF’s Country Director and in close collaboration with the FONGI secretariat
