The UNDP is seeking a consultant to conduct a participatory assessment and develop a GIS-based solid waste management plan for Al Kufra Municipality in Libya.

What you'll do

• Conduct a participatory assessment of the solid waste management system.
• Prepare a community-based solid waste management plan using technical assessment, community participation, and GIS analysis.
• Deliver the following outputs:
  • Inception Report
  • Community Assessment, GIS Survey, and Waste Assessment Report
  • Draft Community-Based Solid Waste Management (SWM) Plan
  • Community Awareness and Communication Strategy
  • Final Community-Based Solid Waste Management Plan and Final Report
  • Complete GIS database and geospatial datasets, digital maps, survey datasets, and all supporting technical documentation
