(Senior) Analyst – Acute Needs Analysis

IMPACT Initiatives is recruiting for multiple (Senior) Analyst – Acute Needs Analysis positions across its country offices in Latin America & the Caribbean, the Middle East & North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

What it offers

• Contract duration: Up to 6 months
• Starting date: Mid-September 2026

Who can apply

• Roles can be at Senior Analyst or Analyst level, depending on the candidate’s experience
• 3 years of relevant working experience in a humanitarian setting such as analysis, assessments, monitoring and evaluation, and research design, with direct in-country experience
• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., international development studies, international relations, humanitarian response, data science, political science)
• Fluency in English required; additional languages required based on location

What you'll do

• Lead the implementation and delivery of the analysis project at the country level
• Collect and synthesize relevant secondary data from REACH assessments, UN agencies, INGOs, and public datasets
• Apply IMPACT’s global analytical guidance to produce structured, consistent, and context-relevant analysis of acute needs
• Draft the Acute Needs Analysis brief using standardized global templates and collaborate with GIS and design colleagues to include visual aids
• Present findings to clusters, working groups, and donors as needed
