• Experience: 1–2 years in sales, marketing, field sales or business development
• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation and customer service; confident approaching businesses; good written and spoken English; knowledge of Nairobi and Kenyan market; ability to use Microsoft Office, email, WhatsApp and digital tools; research and follow-up skills; self-motivation; organisation and reliability

What you'll do

• Identify and approach potential customers, retailers, wholesalers and distributors
• Introduce and promote company products to prospective customers
• Carry out market research to understand customer demand, pricing and competitors
• Generate new sales leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, online platforms and face-to-face visits
• Visit potential customers and businesses within Nairobi and other areas when required
• Follow up sales leads and potential customers consistently
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
• Identify suitable shops, supermarkets and other outlets where products can be sold
• Support product launches, promotions and marketing activities
• Collect feedback from customers and report market information to management
• Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, leads, orders and sales activity
• Prepare regular sales and market progress reports
• Work towards agreed sales and business development targets
• Identify new opportunities for the company to expand its product range and customer base
