Xaji Gate Service Limited is hiring an onsite Operations & Business Development Officer in Nairobi to coordinate daily operations, support business development, and assist management with new projects.

What it offers

• Full-time, onsite role in Nairobi
• Salary range: KSh 30,000 – KSh 50,000 per month

Who can apply

• Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, IT, Project Management or a related field
• Experience: At least 1–2 years in operations, administration, business development or a similar role
• Strong written and spoken English; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email
• Strong research, communication and problem-solving skills; highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and handle confidential information

What you'll do

• Coordinate daily business operations and ensure tasks are completed on time
• Follow up with clients, suppliers, partners and service providers
• Research new business opportunities and potential partnerships
• Support business development activities in Kenya, Somalia and other markets
• Prepare professional emails, reports, proposals and presentations
• Maintain organised company records and digital files
• Coordinate meetings and follow up on agreed action points
• Make professional phone calls and communicate with external organisations
• Assist management with new projects and business initiatives
• Track deadlines and provide regular progress updates
• Support fintech, investment and other business projects being developed by the company
