EACSP Scholarship 2026-2027 in Tanzania

NM-AIST is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the East African Community Scholarship Programme (EACSP) Phase II, Cohort 4, which funds Master’s studies at NM-AIST in Arusha, Tanzania.

What it offers

• Full tuition fees paid directly to NM-AIST
• One return economy-class air ticket between home country and Tanzania
• Arrival allowance of EUR 200
• Monthly stipend of EUR 380 for accommodation, meals and living expenses
• Study materials allowance of EUR 650
• One-time study and research allowance of EUR 1,500

Who can apply

• Citizens of an EAC Partner State other than Tanzania (Burundi, DR Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda)
• Applicants below 35 years of age at the time of application
• Holders of a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division, Distinction, or an equivalent qualification

What you'll do

• Pursue one of four selected Master’s programmes:
  • Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
  • Master of Science in Environmental Technology and Innovation
  • Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management
  • Master of Science in Embedded and Mobile Systems (EMoS)

How to apply

Applicants must complete both steps within 20 August – 10 September 2026:

Step A — Apply for Admission at NM-AIST

• Indicate concurrent application for EACSP
• Pay the applicable NM-AIST application fee

Step B — Apply for the EACSP Scholarship (via IUCEA)

• Compile required supporting documents into a single ZIP folder and email to: eacsp@iucea.org and scholarships@adroitconsultinternational.com
• Use email subject line: “[Applicant Name] – Application for [Master’s Programme] at NM-AIST – Phase II EACSP”

Good to know

• Female applicants, persons with disabilities, and applicants from other disadvantaged backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply; the Programme targets at least 50% female participation among beneficiaries.
• This is a mobility scholarship — applicants may not study within their own country of citizenship.
