The Fairtree Bursary Programme 2027 supports ambitious South Africans pursuing finance, economics or investments by covering study costs and pairing financial aid with mentorship and potential employment.

Who can apply

• South African citizens with a valid South African ID
• Applicants who achieved an average of 65% or higher in Grade 12, or show satisfactory academic performance if currently at a tertiary institution
• Strong performance in English and at least two other subjects
• Accepted to study at a recognised tertiary institution in finance, economics, investments or related fields
• Demonstrate financial need
• Preference given to applicants from previously disadvantaged groups and female candidates

What you'll do

• Maintain satisfactory academic performance to continue receiving funding
• Reapply for funding annually by completing the relevant application forms
