Nursing Officer

Kenya Red Cross Society is seeking a Nursing Officer to provide clinical care and supervision in Kalobeyei.

What it offers

• A leadership role supervising refugee staff in a ward or clinic setting.

Who can apply

• Over two years’ experience as a nurse.
• Registered Nurse with a Diploma in Nursing from KMTC or another recognized institute.
• Valid and current registration License by the Nursing Council of Kenya.

What you'll do

• Supervise and lead refugee nursing staff.
• Assist doctors during rounds and ensure proper patient observations, treatments, and documentation.
• Refer patient information to doctors and maintain accurate records of admissions, discharges, transfers, and deaths.
• Plan weekly schedules, conduct training sessions, and provide health education.
• Compile and submit monthly reports, monitor supply usage, maintain equipment, and ensure cleanliness.
• Perform on-call duties as required.
