Consultant to Develop Biodiversity Hotspot Management Plans & Bankable Projects in Rwanda

UNDP, through REMA and BIOFIN II, is seeking an individual consultant to draft management plans and investor-ready proposals for selected biodiversity hotspots and urban wetlands in Rwanda.

What it offers

• Develop management plans and bankable project proposals for priority green spaces and wetlands
• Produce at least three technically sound, financially viable, and investor-ready proposals
• Identify suitable donors and financing partners for implementation

Who can apply

• Individual contractors registered in UNDP’s Quantum supplier portal

What you'll do

• Conduct detailed feasibility assessments for selected sites
• Draft management plans and bankable business strategies
• Identify potential investors and financing mechanisms

• Register or log in to the UNDP Quantum supplier portal
• Search for negotiation using reference number UNDP-RWA-00412
• Submit proposals directly in the portal no later than 07-Sep-26 @ 12:00 PM (New York time)
• Submit any clarification requests via the portal’s messaging function

Good to know

• Assignment duration: 35 days over a period of 3 months
• Selected districts include Nyabihu, Musanze, Burera, Nyagatare, Kayonza, Rwamagana, Ngoma, Kirehe, and Bugesera
