Nariana Enterprises Ltd. is recruiting a Procurement Officer – Construction to manage sourcing, purchasing and supplier relations for civil-engineering projects in Nairobi.⁠‌​​​‌‌​​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌​​‌​‌‌​‌‌​​⁠

What it offers

• Full-time, hybrid role in Nairobi’s procurement team.

Who can apply

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in construction, contracting, civil engineering, building-materials or project-based procurement is strongly preferred.

What you'll do

• Source and purchase construction materials, equipment, tools, spare parts, consumables and services.
• Obtain quotations, prepare price comparisons and negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Prepare Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and ensure purchases comply with specifications, quantities, budgets and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, site personnel and suppliers to confirm requirements and track deliveries.
• Maintain procurement trackers, supplier databases and procurement documentation.
• Monitor market prices, supplier performance and cost-saving opportunities.
• Verify invoices against quotations, LPOs and delivery notes before Finance processing.
