• Minimum 5 years’ proven management experience in a citrus packhouse environment.
• Strong understanding of citrus packhouse operations, production planning and local and export market requirements.
• Sound knowledge of fruit quality, traceability, food safety and applicable regulatory and certification requirements.
• Proven ability to lead line managers, supervisors and seasonal labour teams.
• Commercially and numerically sound, with experience in budgeting, cost control and productivity management.
• Technology and system proficient, with good computer literacy and practical understanding of packhouse equipment and grading systems.
• Strong planning, accuracy, problem-solving, communication and decision-making ability.
• Working knowledge of occupational health and safety within an agricultural, production or industrial environment.
• Hands-on, accountable and able to work flexible hours during peak operational periods.
• Relevant tertiary qualification
