Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring experienced Cashiers for their stores in Sefako Makgatho, Pretoria, to deliver excellent customer service and handle point-of-sale transactions.

Who can apply

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in cashier/till operations
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Sound numerical skills
• Strong command of English
• Basic customer service skills
• Willing and able to work retail hours

What you'll do

• Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures
• Process customer transactions on the Dis-Chem operating system
• Handle payments (cash, bank cards, vouchers, coupons, etc.)
• Manage loyalty cards (Discovery Health Care, Medihelp Lifestage, Momentum Multiply, Legacy Lifestyle, ABSA Rewards, eBucks)
• Ensure cash security and accurate cash handling
• Report suspicious behaviour and maintain confidentiality
• Address customer queries and manage returns/exchanges
