ARES International Training Scholarships 2027-2028

ARES International Training Scholarships 2027-2028 support mid-career professionals from eligible countries to pursue one-year bachelor’s or master’s degrees or six-month continuing education courses in Belgium.

What it offers

• Registration fees (bachelor’s and specialized master’s only)
• Indirect assignment costs (continuing education only)
• Insurance costs

Who can apply

• Permanent resident and worker in one of 32 eligible countries (exception: Palestinian nationality eligible regardless of residence)
• Holder of a higher education diploma
• Degree obtained no more than 20 years before training start (plus one year per child delivered/adopted)
• Two years of relevant professional experience after last graduate degree and before application closing date
• Application language must match course language; basic French knowledge aids daily life in Belgium

How to apply

• Use an existing GIRAF account or complete the account creation request form
• Log in, go to “Competitive calls” and click “Application – International Training 2027-2028”
• Fill in the form (mandatory fields marked *); save as draft to return later
• Resume via “Competitive Calls” > “My Tasks” > “Open”
• Submit once complete; no changes allowed after submission
