School Driver

What you'll do

• Safely drive the school coaster and van to transport students, staff, and visitors to and from school, home, field trips, sports events, church activities, and other authorized destinations.
• Follow designated routes and schedules for daily student pick-up and drop-off, adjusting only with approval from the Head Teacher or Director of Operations.
• Drive at safe, controlled speeds at all times, strictly observing Uganda traffic laws, road signs, and school policy on child transportation.
• Ensure all passengers, especially children, are seated safely and securely before moving the vehicle, and that doors are properly closed and locked while in motion.
• Assist children, especially younger or nursery-age learners, in safely boarding and alighting the vehicle at each stop.
• Maintain calm, disciplined order among passengers during transit, and report any behavioral concerns to the relevant teacher or the Director of Studies.
• Never leave children unattended in the vehicle.
