What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national secondary curriculum and UNEB syllabus requirements.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment schedules for assigned classes.
• Deliver engaging lessons that build grammar, composition, comprehension, oral communication, and literary analysis skills.
• Use varied teaching methods, including guided reading, creative writing, debates, drama, and discussion-based analysis of set texts and poetry.
• Set, administer, and mark class tests, assignments, essays, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Track learner performance and progress, identifying gaps and providing remedial support.
• Prepare students for national examinations (UCE/UACE) and internal assessments.
