  • Professor: Minimum of twelve (12) years of university teaching, research, and academic leadership experience, including at least three (3) years at the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent
  • Associate Professor: Minimum of nine (9) years of university teaching and research experience, including at least three (3) years at the rank of Senior Lecturer or equivalent
  • Senior Lecturer: Not specified
• Additional requirements:
  • Ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in regular standing
  • Demonstrated commitment to Adventist philosophy of education and values

What you'll do

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Develop, review, and evaluate academic programmes
• Supervise Master’s and PhD research projects and theses
• Conduct and publish high-quality research in reputable peer-reviewed journals
• Mentor faculty members and postgraduate students
• Prepare, administer, moderate, and mark examinations
• Participate in strategic planning, policy formulation, and quality assurance initiatives
• Represent the University in academic, professional, church, and community engagements
• Mobilize resources and support research, consultancy, and grant-funded initiatives
