Production Operations Officer at KPMG Nigeria

KPMG Nigeria is hiring Production Operations Officers to coordinate maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution support for production operations, liaising with operations, maintenance, procurement, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations/Maintenance Management, or a related field; with a minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) GPA.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, production operations, maintenance execution support, or asset integrity environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise systems such as ERP, CMMS, or asset management platforms.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., P6, APICS/ASCM, NEBOSH, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
• Experience working in oil & gas, energy, or large industrial environments is preferred.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain integrated maintenance plans and schedules to support safe and reliable operations.
• Prepare execution-ready work packs, including task lists, job steps, resource requirements, and execution sequences.
• Coordinate maintenance resources, contractors, and specialist support to ensure effective work execution.
• Liaise with operations, maintenance, procurement, logistics, and contractor teams to support execution readiness and schedule delivery.
• Manage materials, spares, and equipment readiness to support scheduled maintenance activities.
• Support field execution teams through schedule updates, work scope adjustments, and execution feedback activities.
• Support integration of operational risks, asset priorities, and schedule constraints into planning and execution activities.
• Participate in planning reviews, Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) sessions, and backlog management meetings.
• Support risk-based maintenance planning and provide execution support to optimise schedule performance and continuous improvement.
